On December 9, the County Commissioners appointed three members to the Cape Cod Economic Development Council.

In September of 2014, municipal and local EDC’s, EDIC’s, Planning Departments, and Town Administrators were informed of the CCEDC’s intent to distribute an economic development survey in October, and follow it up with a forum to share results in early December.
Overall, 11 out of 15 Cape towns were represented. The forum was held in the Harborview Room, in the County Complex, and ran from 8:30 to 10:30, a.m.
The forum opened with a brief presentation of a summary of local investment in economic development by the CCEDC since 2003. It was followed by an in-depth overview of recent RESET projects (technical assistance to the towns) funded by the CCEDC. Survey results were then presented.
